Biograd na Moru, a town and port in northern Dalmatia, is located 28 km south of Zadar. It is located on a small peninsula and the mainland. The economy is based on agriculture, fishing and tourism. It is the ferry port for the island of Pašman. Thanks to its location on the most indented part of the Croatian Adriatic coast, this area offers excellent opportunities for nautical tourism and sailing like few other parts of the Mediterranean. In the immediate vicinity there are three National Parks: Paklenica, Kornati Archipelago and Krka, as well as the Nature Parks Telašćica and Vrana Lake. In addition to its cultural and historical heritage, Biograd is also known for its beautiful beaches, picturesque bays and various accommodation facilities. Biograd has one of the largest and best-equipped tennis camps in this part of the Adriatic, consisting of 14 clay tennis courts and 6 hard courts. It is located in a pine forest, next to the beach. It offers excellent opportunities for sailing and diving and also offers sailing and diving courses. Biograd is a port frequently visited by sailors whose destination is the Kornati archipelago. Regattas, sailing schools and other nautical activities are organized throughout the year. Biograd's marinas have 1000 berths in the sea and 200 places on land and are open throughout the year.
